“Wonderful location, atmosphere and hosts”

Guest from Canada - February 2016

My husband and I stayed in bungalow number 6 this week. First We were so impressed with the communication when booking and directions given before arrival. The bungalow is adorable, beautiful breezes, no need to use the ac. Gorgeous view and lovely swimming right out front off the pier, with nice stairs to go in from. You can rent a kayak. There is a coral reef out front, a ways out….apparently great snorkeling on a calm day. It is windy and breezy in the Islands in February so don’t expect calm like on the Caribbean side. BUT the breeze is lovely, cool for sleeping. Nice comfy bed and linens. Well supplied kitchen. You can stock up in Le Francois at the grocery, or in Dostely at the little grocery. People are very friendly and helpful with my minimal French ….this is a great location, 30 minutes to Lamentin, airport and a bit further to Fort de France. Close to Vauclin where there are a number of excellent restaurants….and a great beach with kite surfers. And close enough to explore the Caribbean bays, about 50 min away and St Anne beach about 40 min away….we can’t wait to return to this little oasis.
There are 10 bungalows, but it feels very private and quiet!! Really great spot. Thank you Sandy

We truly loved our stay !

We truly loved our stay here! The ten bungalows are in a beautiful, well maintained garden with palm and frangipani trees facing the sea. It felt always very peaceful and private. Every bungalow has its own patio/terrace with a table and chairs – perfect for watching the sunrise. The bungalow was clean and spacious. The kitchen well equipped with a fridge and freezer – perfect to do your own cooking during your stay. Every bungalow has a barbeque/grill at the back. We also loved the pier and deck in the bay. It was great to go swimming from there or just sit there and watch the sea. You can also do kayaking the bay which is really great early in the morning. There is a hotel next door with a restaurant, in case you do not want to do always your own cooking. Otherwise you defenitely need a car to move around and do your shopping in Le Francois or go to restaurants nearby. We loved the Les Salines beach near St. Anne or the wilder Cap de Chevalier (about 40min. drive) And of course last but not least – Sandra who manages the place is a gem! She is always ready to help, brimming with positive energy!!!
